Our Mission

The Mission of the American Institute of Crime Scene Integrity is to create and disseminate uniform guidelines for first responding agencies – including EMS, Fire and Police – for use by their personnel to maintain the integrity of crime scenes, possible crimes scenes and scenes involving unattended deaths. AICSI provides educational programs to help first responders perform proficiently, competently, professionally and ethically. This mission extends to all organizations and their staffs who have a vested interest in maintaining the integrity of crime scene evidence.
